Call-To-Action Anthem Love Somebody 2nd Single from Kate Tucker's New EP

Listen to Love Somebody

“I got you and it’s enough, we’re holding on together, you got me and it’s enough, always and forever. They always ask us how we keep it all together, when all we got is all this love.” Sounds like the truth right about now, as Kate Tucker says: “In times of pandemic, we are down to the bare bones of what really matters and turns out it’s still love. Family, friends, health; being held together in love even as we’re forced to be apart.” While Tucker wrote “Love Somebody” with producer Gregory Lattimer (Albert Hammond Jr, The Strokes) well before the world had heard the word COVID-19, good songs have a way of bearing universal sentiments that carry us through an ever changing landscape of love, breakups, dream-come-trues, war, pandemics, life and death.

“Love Somebody” is one of those songs. Kicking off courageously with orchestral drums, swelling synthesizers and an army of warm acoustic guitars, everything drops for the first vocal hook to dance with a cello to the strong backbone of a beat. As the song ends, Tucker takes us out in a round, singing: “To love somebody…be somebody to love…somebody…be somebody…” “Love Somebody” is the second song to be released in the Singles Club series. Each month will bring a new song, leading up to the EP on September 18. The first single, “A Little Bit of Love” is impacting at radio as fans continue to upload videos from all over the world for “A Little Bit of Love Challenge,” raising money for United Way COVID-19 Relief.
